Best Seafood on the Sunshine Coast: Fish, Prawns and Ocean Dining

The Sunshine Coast's proximity to Mooloolaba Harbour, one of Queensland's busiest commercial fishing ports, gives the region access to exceptionally fresh seafood year-round. Mooloolaba is the natural starting point, with fish markets at the harbour offering whole fish, prawns and bugs direct from local boats, and several restaurants nearby serving what was landed that morning. Noosa's Hastings Street and Noosaville's riverfront dining strip are popular for upmarket seafood dining with Noosa River views.
